ALL-Volunteer Meeting for WMM

Women’s March Minnesota invites you to its very first All Volunteer Meeting! Women’s March Minnesota is preparing for a busy and important year in the fight for equity, equality and Justice. We begin by building committees, identifying leadership and finding a place for all those who are committed to moving forward from a March to a Movement.

Join us at 9:30 a.m. for a Women's March Minnesota introduction, and at 10:00 a.m. all committees will meet. We plan to host these meetings monthly, and future meetings will have speakers on different topics as well. We hope you will join in our efforts.

COMMITTEE INFORMATION:

  • Action Committees focus on “getting shit done” and include Special Events, Volunteers, Legislative Action, Calls to Action, Electoral Issues, Administration and Fundraising.
  • Unity Principle Committees will organize around our Unity Principles and include: Ending Violence, Reproductive Rights, LGBTQIA Rights, Workers’ Rights, Civil Rights, Rights for People with Disabilities, Immigrant Rights, and Environmental Justice. Learn more about the Unity Principles.
  • We have also announced a Pre-Planning Committee for March 2019. We have heard from many women that a Women’s March is a staple of what they need in their fight for equality and equity, so we are pulling together a pre-planning committee to explore the feasibility for 2019. If you would like to be notified of this date, please sign up HERE.

We look forward to seeing you on the 24th!
