Join us TOMORROW for a statewide Zoom call with the high-level staffers from the offices of our US Senators Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith!

When and where: February 5, 11:00 AM from wherever you are.

We'll demand that our senators delay, fight, and defeat everything they can, and that starts with Congress standing up and saying “NO.”

We'll ask what the latest situation is in Washington DC, what our senators are doing to stop Elon Musk and the chaos, and get a chance to share what we're all feeling. Plus we'll include a Call to Action!

This event is co-hosted by: Indivisible Twin Cities, Women's March MN, Indivisible West Metro, Indivisible MN03, St. Croix Valley Indivisible, Indivisible Eden Prairie Area. Thank you for your activism, and please remember to take time for self care and being in community.

Women’s March Minnesota is deeply disappointed with Target’s announcement to abandon their DEI efforts to support the participation of black, brown, women, veterans, LGBTQ2S+, and people with disabilities (and their businesses). This decision also impacts team members and their career paths at the Minnesota headquartered retailer. In a moment where Target could have been a beacon as a principled and innovative retailer, they have chosen to bend the knee to the “evolving external landscape”. We will support marginalized communities and join the call for a boycott of Target. We will support businesses of black, brown, veterans, LGBTQ2S+, and people with disabilities by making direct purchases through their consumer platforms.

Call your state legislators and tell them that you want them to champion the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) this session. Then call leadership in both the House and Senate and say it’s high time they allowed the ERA to get through the finish line in the Minnesota legislature. It’s critical that all our legislators (Republican and Democrat) hear from their constituents on this issue. They need to know that their constituents will hold their feet to the fire on the ERA. Gun violence affects all Minnesotans regardless of age, gender-identity, race, ability, or locale. It is a fundamental issue of injustice in our state.
